From a house over 100 years old, items from my exceptional-grandfather's home.
As he ran a textile business from the Meiji era, plenty of kimonos remain.
This is,
Probably from the Showa 20s or 30s, made of pure cotton.
It's a total shibori (tie-dye) yukata fabric.
I believe it was the highest quality at the time.
There are several yellowing and stains on the folds, but considering it's about 60 years old,
I think the condition is good.
