Arrow's insert booklet has the following information on the restoration:- Sixteen Candles has been exclusively restored by Arrow Films and is presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1 with 5.1 and mono audio.- The original 35mm camera negative was scanned in 4K resolution on a Lasergraphics Director at EFilm, Burbank.- The film was graded on Digital Vision's Nucoda Film Master and restored at R3Store Studios in London.- The original mono mix was remastered from the optical negatives at Deluxe Audio Services, Hollywood.- The extended version sourced additional 35mm materials for this section.- All materials for this restoration were made available by NBC Universal. impeccable for everyday use. supreme materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
